Feeding in the oceanarium
To get the maximum benefit of your visit we highly recommende phat you prioritise the feeding of the fish in the oceanarium at 1 pm and in July and August also at 4 pm. Be there when our diver jumps in with the sunfish and all their hungry friends. Listen to the diver's stories about life in the North Sea while he feeds the fish. Meet the animals of the sea face to face through the lens of the diver's camera.

It is our mission to inform you and your family about life in the North Sea. In the North Sea Lab you can soak yourself in the science of fish and other animals from the North Sea. At the two touchpools you can reach for the seabed.Pet the starfish. Stroke the turbots.
Travel to the world of the seals.
The road to the underwater world of the seals leads you through the glass tunnel at the bottom of the seal-pool. From here you can watch the seals shoot through the water while they play. You are really getting right up close when a curious seal comes up to the window to take a peep - at you!

The largest playmate in Denmark...
In the outdoor area you’ll meet a giant playmate. She is a childfriendly, full size sperm whale.
With her the children can have fun for hours. In 2008 we’ll open a new playground with a miniature Hirtshals lighthouse that has a very cool slide! There are also great places to play inside
Taste the North Sea
You’ll be hungry after looking and learning about the North Sea. So why not taste it? In our Ocean Café you can enjoy delicious fish meals. In the summertime you can eat fish and shellfish in the Seafood bistro. Enjoy the weather while your children play at the two playgrounds nearby. And of course you can bring your own food for a picnic.
